Welcome to Everyday Oasis
We’re a Portland based startup offering accessible practices that replenish the nervous system, foster connection, and build steady resilience—without pressure. We serve people of all abilities and backgrounds and have extensive experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their caregivers.
Our guiding philosophy is that our inner world can become an Oasis if we visit Everyday.
Our Services
At Everyday Oasis, we guide families, caregivers, and individuals of all abilities through practices that support calm, connection, and self-expression. Each offering is designed to be accessible, trauma-informed, and grounded in compassion.
Guided Breathwork & Meditation — Simple practices that cultivate presence and inner quiet. We emphasize accessibility for those with limited verbal function, using physical prompts and supportive techniques to make meditation approachable for everyone.
Mindful Movement & Somatic Education — Gentle, breath-based stretching and body awareness to support safety and grounding. We focus on overlooked muscle groups and create accessible movements to release stored tension in the body.
Creative Arts & Reflective Writing — Lightly guided sessions that invite expression through art and language. These practices offer space for self-inquiry, integration, and the enrichment of daily life.
Family & Caregiver Integration — Shared practices that bring caregivers and loved ones into a rhythm of connection. Together we explore routines that nurture regulation, ease stress, and strengthen bonds within families and support networks.
Nature-Based Mindfulness — Practices that connect us with the natural world as a teacher and mirror. From guided breathing outdoors to mindful observation, we draw on the cycles of nature to support balance, healing, and renewal.
